  1. These are beautiful paintings and very much worth going to see. He would paint the ingredients of meals before they were prepared. Some of the groupings (like the one above) were set up outside on rocks to give the paintings more variety. So you get these great juxtapositions of tomatoes with tumultuous clouds in the background.

  2. Wow! These are amazing! I can only imagine what they look like in person. I'm glad the exhibit lasts a while. I'll try to get out there.
