If you haven't been to the Getty Villa in Malibu this might be the best time to go with all the fires around our area you can take in the fresh air and see a replica of a roman villa. As you are walking through the villa don't miss the beautiful gardens where you will find these frescos flanking the area. In the second floor you will find these beautiful Roman mummy portraits made with encaustic and tempera made to commemorate the dead. One of the earliest examples of portraiture.
